Titanium vs Steel Seamaster - your thoughts please

Dear All

I'm currently in the process of buying my first Omega. It's a choice between the Titanium (2293.50.00) and Steel (2594.50.00) America's Cup Chronograph. As very few of my colleagues share my interest in watches, I'm desperate for some informed opinions :-)

I think the main feature that's making me prefer the titanium version is the metallic bezel (as opposed to the black version on the steel version).

I appreciate it's down to my own preference, but could anyone share their thoughts on the two metals?

The titanium version is approx. �300 GBP more expensive here in the UK, so there's a reasonable difference in expense.
