I found that I don't particularly like the color of Titanium. I don't like it's duskiness. I also don't like the way it oxidizes. It will turn darker over time. The finish can also become splotchy (is splotchy in the dictionary?) depending on exposure to different situations or or habbits. For instance; you can take a pencil eraser and easily remove the oxidation on portions of the watch.

The oxidation is also the quality that allows Titanium to be "self healing". Most scratches in Titanium are not scratches in the metal, rather scratches in the oxidation. Therefore, the scratch eventually re-oxidizes.

I prefer the brightness of Stainless Steel. I don't need the weight savings, and I certainly don't need to pay more.
