Re: Lancaster PA doesn't have it. I emailed UK

Hank
You are right.
Buying cheap and selling high is the fundamental principle on which our market economy exists.
However when some one sells something with a false description that is a scam. Pure and simple. Read the thread Hank.
My bone of contention is that some ebay sellers are advertising this book as something rare and unobtainable. That my friend is wrong. It is readily available.
However you seem to have no problem with this so I now challenge you. Knowing what you now know, are you going to buy a copy from an ebay seller at an extortionate price or are you going to accept my offer of a copy at the price I paid. FIFTEEN POUNDS. Which is it to be.

: PMFJI, but what a load of rubbish! While I
: appreciate your original tip to the forum
: about this book I can't believe what a fuss
: you are making about Ebay and people
: re-selling things at a profit. Last time I
: checked most of the successful economies of
: the world were capitalist societies! If
: someone has the knowledge and resources to
: find an item and sell it on Ebay I say more
: power to them! Nobody twists any arms on
: Ebay - the market demand determines the
: price - not the seller. As for considering
: this to be a scam or inappropriate in any
: way - sorry, that's just ridiculous!
