precision of SMP

Hi there!

I bougt a SMP (black/black, full-size, automatic) four month ago. It is a great watch in every aspect. Since then I've been reading this forum (and time-zone and omega addict). Great stuf here and lots of usefull information! Compliments!

In the beginning my SMP ran 4 sec/day fast. During the night I take it off (crown-up). Recently I found that my SMP slowed down to 0,5 sec /day! I've read something about a settle-down period but didn't know that it could take four months? Are there others with the same experience?

I was wondering if Omega on purpose sets there mechanisms fast hoping them to slow down, or is this just (a lucky) coincidence?

Ralph
