Re: SMP GMT Bracelet
In Response To: SMP GMT Bracelet ()

: I just purchased a used GMT and it has a Bond
: type Bracelet with the 1503 clasp, I wish to
: change it to a type 1513. Does the 1513
: Clasp fit or will it require additional
: links?
: Thanks

The single button clasp bracelet that came with the Blk dial Seamaster GMT is 1513/825. The 1513 refers to the clasp while 825 refers to the end pieces and bracelet. The 1513 has the gold Omega emblem on the clasp.
The two-button standard "Bond" bracelet is 1503/825.
If you have the current 1513/825 bracelet, and have over a 7.5" wrist, you can obtain a 1503 clasp and switch the clasp. If you have not taken links out of your watch or are uncertain how to do it, a qualified jeweler or watchmaker may do it for you. The 1503 clasp can be ordered directly from Swatch USA for around $45.
In my opinion, the "hidden" 1513 clasp is more comfortable whilst the the 1503 "Bond" clasp seems more durable and massive.
Hope this helps.
Jeff
