replace speedmaster pro crown by seamaster crown?

Hi
My speedmaster pro '68 although with a new crown still remains a
bit leaky. Pusher O-rings are replaced with new high pressure rings,
crystal is new, but the new crown remains leaky. It was never intended
to be very waterproof, I know. Waterproofness is very handy though.

Does anyone know whether the seamaster 300 crown (also from 60's) will
also fit on the speedmaster pro?

I dont know if it has a scew down crown, but normal crowns with
appropriate sealing can take severe pressures.

Working with quite high pressures in daily life I know that even
modest O-rings easily withstand pressures of 300 bar and up when used
static and up to 100 bar dynamic (rotating).

Anyone has some usefull advice?
