Re: Seamaster "Bond" model appearance

I wear the SMP to work most days. I work for a watch retailer and I wear a suit. Today is Saturday. I'm at work wearing Levis and a Hawaiian shirt...and my SMP. Just my opinion, but I think the Bond watch goes with anything. If you can afford it, get yourself a nice late 50s/early 60s Semaster on a leather strap for formal occasions. With these two watches, you should be set for any and all contingencies. I have recently aquired an Oris Miles Tonneau Day Date. This is a nice Franck Mulleresque watch without the ridiculous price tag that an FM has. This watch looks great with formal attire.
However, with two kids under the age of three, my wife and I don't go anywhere formal at the moment.
One other thing to consider is this; our dads probably only wore one watch all the time. Something mechanical on a strap which they wore to Sunday barbeques or while changing a flat tyre.
Unless, of course, they were mad watch collectors like us. Just my 2c.

P.S.- Bond only wears one watch, too.
