I was watching this item close. The bid had gone up to $475. About 10 minutes before the auction was to complete, suddenly the auction was deleted. Maybe the eBay fraud police did catch this one!

I agree. Having such a complete looking set of boxes, papers and things like the OMEGA hang tag do imply that the item is the real thing.

I thing most of the bidders under $150 know it is a fake. Those bidding higher are probably clueless that fakes exist and either think that's what a real one can be bought for or that they are getting a killer deal.

Me too. Though with the truth of 'a sucker born every minute,' there is only so much we can do to protect all of them from their own folly.

Apparently, eBay now allows a seller to hide their feedback comments (but not the score of good/bad). Off the top of my head, I see zero good reason for that. See the link below for their policy:
