Great concern on my Seamaster pro diver

Hi all

I've a Auto Seamaster Pro Diver (similar to the Bond model but is a chronometer and chronograph) since August 2002 (bought new from an authorized dealer).

Just 3 days ago, I notice that my watch stop running, eventhough I've been wearing it everyday, and I started going about winding it and adjusting the time.

As i pull the crown out to adjust the time, it seems to come to far out and I was unable to adjust the time forward or backward (it turns too freely, not engaging any gears). And then the crown came off!!!, the watch! as i was turning it.

To my horror, I inserted it back and slowly wind it forward and backward and then the it started to engage. I seems to be able to adjust the time, date and also wind it up too.

Then about 60hrs later (yesterday), watch stop ticking and working again. When trying to adjust the time, date and winding it, nothing work. Crown seems to turn too freely (not engaing any gears, no resistance).

Pushing and pulling the crown in and out (from winding to date to hands movement adjusting position seems to get the crown to engage the gears again.

Should i get my watch service, I've yet to get it service since new. I love my watch and have great concern about it just stop working like that

Pls advise
Thanks in advance
