Seems obvious that you need to get it fixed.

Beyond that, I am not clear what else you are asking. Certainly things like complicated watches can break. No way to comment more without a professional seeign the watch to say whether there was a defect or whether you broke it from dropping it, banging it into something or what.

Novice owners sometimes think when they pay a lot of money for a watch they are getting something indestructible. Nothing could be further from the truth. Luxury watches are expensive jewelry which is very durable, but must still be used with reasonable care as they are breakable.
