: Rolex VS Omega knock down drag out

I agree with KVS strongly. Most Rolex owners are NOT watch fanatics. Many Omega owners (particularly seamasters/speedm.) are better educated about watches than most lux. watch owners.

Ask yourself, "Who, exactly, am I buying the watch for?" If you are trying to impress other non-watch people, then Rolex may be the thing for you. A good arguement can be made for this, depending on your profession.

If you really appreciate fine, highly functional timepieces at a more reasonable price, Omega is the hands-down better bet.

I'm a former Rolex person, and believe me, the thrill wears off. How can anyone get excited about owning BY FAR THE MOST COMMON fine watch in the world?...especially when most watchmakers will tell you Omega is as good or better in MANY respects.
