Re: Yep....you win! ......what an ego...

Not true, really. What better reasoning can there be than to argue the uselessness in puting a "feature" on a watch that 99+% of their owners doesn't need and will NEVER use? So from a "practicality" point of view it makes no sense to me and is therefore an eyesore, i guess. (remember my anology of the "teets on a bull" earlier?)

......anything added to a practical and useful item like a water resistant watch (and especially a higher priced luxury one).....that is never used is simply for show and cheapens the appeal, at least to me.

.....might as well wear a "knockoff" Rolex or Patek........if it's all about useless show!

......don't really know if most owners like the Helium relief valve there or not.......possibly many have never really thought about it. But IF Omega offered a version without it.......i'd venture a wager that new watch would take over in sales!

: Joe Your argument is not based on reason. It is
: based on what you thing looks good. Your
: saying "I don't like the way the HRV
: looks so Omega should stop making it."
: You have this strange idea that because you
: don't like it, most other people must not
: like it ether.

: The practicality argument is a moot point
: because nothing about an expensive watch is
: practical. If you want practical buy a timex
: or a G-shock
