Deployant clasps
In Response To: Re: Omega strap ()

: Do realize that "genuine OMEGA"
: straps are not cheap. Their leather straps
: range from US$80-160 and the deployant clasp
: is separate and costs anohter $160. So are
: you prepared to spend $250-320 for this,
: just to get "genuine OMEGA?"

: Honestly, your watch can accomodate just about
: any brand of strap. Probably takes a
: standard 18mm width strap (but measure
: yourself or take it to a jeweler to be sure
: before buying). So you have a lot of choices
: if you don't feel you just have to have the
: OMEGA brand strap.

: www.ofrei.com has genuine OMEGA straps and
: OMEGA buckles you can put on other brands of
: straps. Plus they carry a nice line of
: straps from Kreisler at great prices.

: www.banda.com has neat straps and deployant
: clasps.

: www.westcoasttime.com also has deployant clasps
: that fit standard straps.

When I bought my deployant clasps from an authorized dealer their MSRPs were $80. I think they are still the same.
