I got my 2062.50.00 brand new @ $799,WorldWatches

About a year and a half ago.Never a problem.
Yes buying from overseas is way too risky.Seems the grey market prices have climbed a LOT since I bought my watch,so you ARE better off going auth dealer these days.:-)
: Congrats!

: I hear that EXCUSE a lot. And it is usually
: followed with a description of the mistakes
: someone had then made or the absurd risks
: they are planning to take.

: The truth is that if you believe you
: "can't afford" a new one, then you
: certainly can't afford to lose your money on
: risky purchases through shady sellers.

: Glad you're happy, but this should be a lesson
: to others that try to cheap out and take
: unreasonable risks on the excuse of not
: believing they can afford what they want.

: Realize that you will have ended up spending
: $650+675+95+95 = $1515 to buy a USED
: mid-size SMP quartz. That's MORE THAN the
: FULL RETAIL PRICE of $1450 on that watch!

: So it is hard to take seriously that you
: weren't able to afford a new one.

: You could have walked in to ANY authorized
: OMEGA dealer and gotten at least 10-20% off
: a brand new, fully factory warranteed SMP.
: Even factoring in local sales tax, that
: easily would have been $150-300 less than
: what you spent.
