: Hi there. I'm wondering whether any of you

Andy, I hate to say it, but I would not recommend any automatic watch for a round of golf. Like I tell my customers, it's not the swing of the club that may do the damage. It's that sudden stop when the club hits the ball. I know that watches nowadays are made up of better metals and alloys than watches of, say, 30 years ago, and modern shock protection systems can take quite a beating, but I personally would rather be safe than sorry.
Bear in mind that this is purely my opinion based on watches that I take in for repairs so what I say is not necessarily based on fact.
Although I did have one customer who's $15,000 solid gold Patek Philippe decided to stop running while he was playing golf.
But then again, I could be wrong.
