When you say 'chrono' I am guessing you mean chronograph (watch with stopwatch functions) and not just chronometer (watch with accuracy certification).

First, understand that on a chronograph watch, the BIG second hand does not normally move. Look at the small dials, one of those is your 'normal' second hand that will always be moving when the watch is running. The big second hand only moves when you are using the chronograph/stopwatch functions.

It usually takes 30-40 turns of the crown to wind the watch fully. But you should see it start running after less than 10 turns.

If that doesn't do it, then you might have a defective watch.
