No, I have a Bond SMP chronometer and do not have any such marks on mine, and mine is about 20 months old. As Derek said, these watches are NOT molded, so you should not see any mold release marks. I have worked in the plastics industry for nearly seven years so I'm quite familiar with mold releases and the defects they can cause on a finished part. However, in the case of a carved stainless steel watch case, you should not see any such marks at all.
