Does the Rolex movement justify the Rolex price tag? =) You'll find that the rolex price has nothing to do with quality of movement, although Rolex does make quality movements. It's all about the fact that Rolex is famous and has a reputation, and so the demand for it is high. Thus they can charge high prices. No sense comparing a Rolex watch to an Omega watch, seeing if you think it's worth spending the same amount of money on one as the other. With that argument, you shouldn't buy either Rolex or Omega, just buy Timex or Casio! People choose Rolex over Timex not because of price justification, but because each has its own appeal. Timex has the tooler's appeal (or maybe they buy it cause it's cheap). Rolex has the luxury appeal. With Omega, you have your own luxury appeal, but luxury cannot be measured. Luxury is a feeling inside of you, and that's why no Rolex movement or Omega movement will ever justify its price tag. The only thing that justifies the price is your desire.
