Floridians Are Friendly
In Response To: Omega people ()

I moved to the Orlando area from suburban Philadelphia almost a year ago. When I first got my Bond SMP in suburban Philly I never received one comment on it...not one!!!

Since I have been in Florida I get "nice watch" and "Is that the James Bond watch?" from checkout clerks, people I just happen to be talking to, Disney World tourists, etc. I'm amazed by how many people down here recognize the watch. Naturally, I'm always willing to chat with them about Omegas.

It's refreshing for me to have found that Floridians don't look down on the Omega brand because it doesn't have the "perceived prestige" of a Rolex or Patek Philippe. The fact that they WANT to talk about Omegas is a compliment to the brand.
