:The red "dot" is actually still on my year old Aqua Terra, but I really have not got it very wet or really cleaned and wiped it down. The dot is really only a speck of red paint, and it probably wouldn't take much to " clean the watch really well" and wipe it off by mistake.
If you got it from a dealer, that's hopefully all that happined. Frank
