Response back from Omega

Before I purchased my used Seamaster, I emailed Omega asking for information based on the serial number. Below is their response. I thought it was interesting:

Dear customer,

We thank you for your message and for your interest shown in our brand.

Each OMEGA watch is identified with an 8-digit serial number on the case.

The 8-digit serial number is also written on the OMEGA international

warranty card. The OMEGA international warranty card is given to you by the

authorized OMEGA retailer at the purchase of the watch. The OMEGA

international warranty only comes into force if the warranty certificate is

dated, fully and correctly completed and stamped by an official OMEGA

retailer.

The serial number you provided us with corresponds to the following model:

Reference: Ref. 2531.80.00

Omega Gents' Seamaster Professional Diver 300 m - "James Bond" model,

Model: Steel on Steel with a blue dial, Steel bezel with a blue Aluminium

ring.

Calibre: 1120 self-winding calendar movement, official chronometer warranty.

We hope that the above information is satisfactory and wish you much

pleasure with your OMEGA Seamaster Diver watch, we remain,

With our kindest regards,

O M E G A SA
