: noticed that over a one week period it lost
: about a minute and 30sec, nowhere near

That's about -12 seconds per day.

: it too much so I am wondering if it needs to
: be fully wound. I just gave it about 80
: turns. Is this a sufficient amount to wind

Manual winding does help ensure best performance. 40 turns should be sufficient.

: still runs slow, what could be the cause?

The watch may be in need of a routine cleaning.

: should I be concerned? What would I need to
: do?

Since it wasn't worn much before you got it, I'd give it a couple of weeks to see if it settles in. If it still runs far too slow, take it in for a standard cleaning and regulation.

Good luck!
