I would like to thank everyone who passed along a recommendation for a Wash DC area dealer. I am now the proud owner of a new Seamaster Chronograph (ref.2594.52), and have finally found an Omega home of my own.
I spoke with this fine gentleman at length regarding my desire for the new model, but was put off by the problems others are having. Not only did he put my fears to rest, but he fully tested the watch before he sent it out. (4 days on a winder, while constantly working the chronograph) He gave me true expert advice, on top of a shockingly low discount price on the watch and a new Seamaster diving band. Needless to say, I couldn't be happier with everything.
