You also have to factor in the tax, which can be as high as 30%. Although, you can fill out a duty-free-tax rebate form. I did one a couple months ago and still havent got the refund yet. The discout for cash purchases is only in the neighborhood of 10%. Which is still more than you would pay in the US. The last time I checked, shops here are doing 20%-30% off MSRP and you can use a credit card to get those valuable Airline miles. Which coupled with the value of the Dollar is a lot of money.
