CoAxial question

I was looking at the photos of the Coaxial movements in the 2004 wristwatch annual. It would appear that the Coax movments (2500,2627) are derivatives of the ETA 2892-A2 series. Actually they look the same with the exception of the escapement and the updated balance (4 vs 3 legs) and the free balance spring. Is there any information that says these Coax escaped movements are any more accurate than the 1120 (ETA Base) movement? Both are COSC certified. I am trying to decide on a Current 41mm Seamaster and the new Coax one. But the cost differential is significant.
