Re: Watch to these specs?
In Response To: Re: Watch to these specs? ()

: You forgot one important piece of
: information... what range of $ are you
: willing to spend?

: But several ideas/suggestions based on what you
: said so far:

: Don't shop on eBay. Try a reputable used watch
: dealer. I like watchseller.com,
: artoftime.com, gilliswatches.com and
: joseph-watch.com.
: In newer OMEGA watches, check out the DeVille
: Prestige . While still a current model, it
: has been out for at least 8 years, so is
: possible to find used and older pieces.
: The Rolex you showed as one of your examples
: would be too thick. All the Rolex Oyster
: series watches are more like 10-12mm. Rolex
: does make some thin watches, but they are
: less common.
:

: Good luck!

Thanks for the advice - I like the look of the prestige but it's 'rhodium plated' -- is this durable?

Price range ~$500 is this realistic?
