They are also not 100% consistant where they put them within a model line. Over the past year, I've heard of 2 Seamaster Pros with the SN on the caseback, and not the lug. These were Authentic Omegas purchased throught an Authorized Dealer. Also note a rash of stamped ensignias at the edge of the caseback of some recent Seamaster Pros. Omega isn't always consistant.
