SMP help

I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for help. I have worn a Seiko Divers 200M Auto for the past three years and love the watch. I have finally decided to jump up to a SMP. I have read everything and have found this site to be the best source of Omega info on the web, I but still can't decide if I should get the auto or quartz SMP. I'm growing tired of jump starting the Seiko after it sits on the dresser for a few days, so I'm looking at the quartz SMP. However, I can be a little anal about hands not lining up straight, which takes me back to the auto with its sweep hand. I guess my question is...any feedback on the quartz second hand of the SMP? How well do they line up? I don't want to start a huge discussion on Auto vs Quartz, but any info specific to the SMP would be a great help.
