What is most likely is that Omega no longer has the exact replacement part crown for your watch in stock anymore. So they may have to substitute a generic replacement part that lacks the Omega symbol on it.
You are talking about a watch that is close to 40 years old, and crowns are about the most needed replacement part for older watches.
