Which Omega to buy?

Hi, I am new to this forum, and am in the market for an Omega chronometer watch, I think Speedmaster or Seamaster. I cannot afford a new one, but want a quality piece. Which model would be best, and how much should I expect to pay? Is there a seller in particular I should know about?
