Pricing doesn't work that way. It's (at least
in this business) based on more intangible
things.

I seriously *did* consider the Mark XV at one
time; But I came to realise I didn't like its
hands, that only the markers at 12,3,6 and 9
are luminous nor the reflections in the crystal.

(For "something like it" I'd suggest a modern
Omega Dynamic, and that's not 50% the price, it's
25%. OK: It's not chronometer certified (which
the IWC isn't either, but they at least tell you
to what timekeeping standard they make them), if
that's important?)

That said, I don't exactly like the Seamaster
120's skeleton hands. If you do, I think you
should choose it. If you're uncertain, perhaps
you should consider other models and not just
these two?
