A visit paid to watch shop

Since there is many opinions on rolex vs omega,
I wanted to see it with my own eyes and perception. I visited a local jeweller and paid attention to a rolex explorer (they didnīt have submariner), and I must say many people were right: the bracelet felt very cheap and the clasp also were inferior. I was amazed that the bracelet was so light and slobby.
However, the finish was quite good.
I asked the employee why rolex costed x 2 vs SMP, and she said that rolex movement is superior and they make all parts in-house.
The In-house part I accepted, but I was some confused about her statement that rolex movement was superior compared to SMP.
I also looked at a Breitling, and I must say their
bracelet was also quite dissapointing!
It was sloppy, too shiny and light.
Eventhough Iīm strictly an amature, I could conclude that SMP bracelet is one of the best Iīve encountered. Sure, I couldnīt be 100% objective on this matter since I own a SMP, but I guess almost anyone could agree more than less.

rgds, Keo
