Re: Rolex. Good?
In Response To: Re: Rolex. Good? ()

: You of course mean "its not worth it
: now" right?

When it comes to the submariner, it is not worth it. But other models with diamonds/gems/complications etc, would be worth paying for.

: You know, theres a reason some people pay
: 10,000.00 American greenbacks for a Daytona.
: Theres a reason people pay 22,000.00 for a
: diamond clad Constellation. Theres a reason
: beyond reason. Watches are highly over-rated
: kinda like cars, there are so many models -
: I believe you could compare a Rolex and
: Omega to Rolls and BMW literally speaking.
: I really dont understand people who try to
: compare these things - hmmm...

The reason we pay $$$$ for BMW, Mercedes, Porsche etc, is not only because of brandīs name.
The products actually contain very high quality technical details, which cannot be found in e.g.
Hyundai Accent.
But if Mercedes would make a car, very simple and very low "high-tech" factor, it wouldnīt be worth the price if the initial price would be too high.
If Rolex had added high quality bracelet on their sub, their price would, again, be motivated.
