I have an SMP Diver; bought it back in March or so. Not long after I began wearing it, I found that it was sometimes stopping. I'd find it stopped in the morning, and eventually it began stopping while I was wearing it.
I went through the same questioning as you - wondering if I was wearing it enough, wondering if I was moving my arm enough (I work in the software business, too). I began winding it occasionally, every three days or so, but it kept stopping.
Eventually I took it to the store where I bought it - an authorized dealer in San Francisco that warantees Omegas for three years and works on them in-house. I'm sorry not to be able to report exactly what they did, but they described it as a small adjustment. My watch still stops occasionally (just this morning, in fact), but only when I've worn little enough that I'm certain that's the cause.
If you think that perhaps you're not wearing it enough, or are not active enough for the periods in which you're wearing it, I would first try winding it every third day and see if the problem goes away. If it persists, ask your dealer to check it out. I assume you have a warranty of some kind - ?
Good luck to you.

: Hi,
: I purchased a Seamaster professional Automatic
: from gray market recently. I found sometimes
: my Omega stops in the morning, with
: siginificant
: less than 44-hour power reserve (say around
: 12-15 hours not wearing it). Is that normal?
: By the way, I am a computer professional, not
: moving my left hand very often during day time.
: Appreciate.
