Re: Where to service gray market watches

: Unfortunately (am I?), I got my Seamaster 120M from
: Ashford.com and the serial number was scratched away. Some
: said Omega and/or its authorized dealers will not service
: such watches. Some said they will do it for an additional
: fee. Any input?

I have not heard of any Omega Service Center refusing to service a gray market watch. But the repairs will be at your expense. They simply treat them as out-of-warranty watches. So you should have no problem getting repairs done -- they just won't be free.

If you want free repairs, you have to send the watch to Ashford. They are the ones who have warrantied the watch to you.
