Maybe the question you should be asking is what does *she* think?

My wife actually does not like automatics--she needs a watch that is no fuss, no bother, always right. She'd put on her automatic Rolex and wouldn't even look at the time until later in the day. When she would finally look at it later in the day when she needed to know the right time, it was too late to discover that the watch had run down since she last wore it and was displaying the wrong time and date. At that point, she might as well have not even worn the watch.

It's pretty embarrasing for a woman to have to ask her friend with the inexpensive quartz Mickey Mouse watch the right time because the expensive automatic she's wearing was dead wrong.
