I have heard so much of this. I have no experience of it as (a) I am in the UK and (b) I only have vintage Omegas (which are dealt with very efficiently by the Omega vintage people in this country).

However I would write personally to Mr Hayek, marking the letter Private and Confidential, with a copy to Lancaster.

It seems extraordinary that it goes on and on and nothing seems to be done about it.
