Bob: Because of the perfect fit of the solid end links, if you push only one of the spring pins, you won't be able to get the bracelet off; You'll need to carefully (so that the first side you depress doesn't slip back into the hole) depress the other end of the spring pin also, and then slip the end link clear of the lugs. Although you can't remove it by depressing one end of the pin, you should be able to move the end link just enough so that the pin won't again find the hole. It takes a bit of dexterity, but isn't that tough. I took my GMT off the bracelet and wore it on a black leather strap for a few weeks; It just didn't look as classy as the Seamaster bracelet, IMHO.
