Re: SMP America's Cup Limited Edition

: $1000 more than the regular SMP SS ? Strange, I
: was told (here, in Italy) that the limited
: ed. 150th had the same list price as the
: regular 150th (about $2100, versus 1350 for
: the SMP SS (Bond)). I didn't imagine such a
: difference.

$945 difference between this and the SMP Auto Full Size. White gold bezel? Limited to 9,999? I don't know what these things are worth. I wonder if there is any inscriptions on the case back like: "Official Timekeeper of the America's Cup". Is 9,999 large or small for a limited edition? I like the raised number white gold bezel. I like the hands, I like the large markers. Unlike some, I like the America's Cup Logo on the face. But I collect America's Cup stuff. That's why I started looking at Omega. I was following the Louis Vuitton Cup (the America's Cup Challenger Series) and saw that Omega was the Official Timekeeper of the AC. I also bought the Citizen Promaster Navisail Stars and Stripes # JN2039-56L (Official Watch to Team Dennis Connor 2000). Oh Well. BTW: Prada (Italy) and America One (USA) in the Louis Vuitton Cup Finals. GO AMERICA ONE!!

I'll be looking for a deal.
