: like the mid-size version is only available
: in quartz whereas the full-size comes in
: both automatic and quartz?

Interesting observation. Hadn't caught that detail. But it is not surprising considering how many different variations they would have if they made every style in both movements and sizes.

At one point, the Bond style Seamaster Pro Diver was available in about two dozen combinations of color, size, and movement.

: Am I mistaken here or does that seem a little
: discriminatory towards people with small
: wrists? =)

Well, I would not say that -- I have a small wrist (6.5") yet prefer wearing the full size. I've heard from many owners and there does seem to be a trend of the full size being popular with smaller wrist guys and the mid size being the favored choice of several bigger bodied guys.

So preferred size of watch is not necessarily proportional to the size of your wrist!
