SCANS of a nice Valjoux 7751 chronograph

THE OMEGA 1151

Here are some pictures I took this weekend ) Sometime in the future I will post a more detailed review. In the meantime, I thought I would share!

The 1151 is the Omega version of the ETA/Valjoux 7751. As you can see, the movement has snailing and cotes de geneve on most of its surfaces as well as a very even matte finish on the more functional surfaces. Quite the opposite of the standard finish on most watches that use the 7750/51. In that regard, Omega stands out. Unfortunately, these models do not have exhibition backs....

The Omega 1151 has most of the features of the 7751 with the exception of the moonphase drive mechanism (standard on ETA/Valjoux 7751) which Omega has removed, or left-out during assembly.

Alex
