Yes, Omega uses AISI 316 L or 1.4435 stainless steel.

Only mildly finger tight. More will damage the threads and gradually REDUCE the water resistance of the watch.

: 3. Why the omega emblem on the crown(s)(- also
: Helium valve) is after tightening
: upside-down, when you look from lateral

Two reasons. One, that is hard to do, because as the metal expands, contracts, and ages, the threads will cause the crown to stop in different positions.

The other is because nobody really cares! Most watches don't even have a stop point on the crown and nobody cares about which way their logos end up facing. So why should you?
