Personally, I wouldn't make night readability my primary tie breaker. The JB model night readability is not bad, it's just not the eye-popper that the new model is.

I've come to like the new Seamasters, particularly in light of how much they resembel older Seamaster models.

In counterpoint, the new Seamasters look like a lot of dive watches, but the JB Seamaster is quite unique.
