In Response To: seamaster 120 auto band ()

: is it possible to replace the band of the
: seamaster 120 auto with that of the
: professional series? if yes then how?

Technically, it is easy to swap the bracelets--they are all held on just like leather straps are, with two spring pins. The Seamaster 120 uses the same case as the mid-size Seamaster Pro so the bracelets should be interchangable no problem.

What will be a problem is that if you already have the 120, buying a Pro bracelet for it will cost around US $400 for the all steel version! Even more for the two-tone or all gold!

If you have not bought the Seamaster 120 yet and are going to buy it new from an authorized dealer, then they may be able to custom order the 120 on the Pro bracelet. Omega is usually very cooperative about swapping bracelets within the Seamaster family of watches. I've heard of several cases where people successfully ordered the Seamaster Pro on the Seamaster GMT bracelet. But this would definitely need to be arranged before you buy, and only an authorized dealer would be able to handle it.
