Re: Seamasterīs Size
In Response To: Re: Seamasterīs Size ()

: Lets see, for those of us who are
: metric-handicapped, I believe that
: translates to: 5'9" tall, 175 lbs, and
: about a 7.5 inch wrist.

: I'd recommend the men's(full) size for you.

: From comments I have received from hundreds of
: owners, generally men who are near or above
: average weight and height prefer the men's
: size. This is supported by reports from
: Omega that the men's size SMP is much more
: popular in Europe and the USA, while the mid
: is the better seller in areas like Japan.

: Interestingly, wrist size seems to have the
: *least* to do with which size SMP works best
: on a person. Even guys with particularly
: skinny wrists (mine are 6.5" / 16.5 cm)
: often choose the men's size SMP.

I don't doubt for a minute that Derek is correct. However, there are a few exceptions. I'm 6'5" 245 and, because of my relatively smaller wrist size, I think the mid-size Seamster looks best on me.

Size is probably even a more subjective choice than quartz v. automatic. I still am constantly noodling on that one!! (LOL)
