Re: Is the SMP good for????

RonZ is a visitor to the Omega forum who is in law enforcement/military and wears the Bond SMP. You might ask his opinion.

My suggestion is to get a Seiko diver with the 7S26 movement. The SKX-007 is a good example. This watch is about $170 and is as close to indestructible as you can get. It has nice large luminous dial markers, day-date, and unidirectional rotating bezel. It comes in either a black dial, or the rare orange dial version ($180). Both are pictured at the link below. Wayne Lee is an excellent guy to deal with, because neither of these watches are available in the US.

But since you already have the G-shock, that's about the toughest watch you can buy.

: hello,
: I am new to most of this watch stuff but it was
: recomended that i talk to the board.
: I need a new watch, up till now it has been
: casio
: g-shocks that have served me well I might add.
: I would like a watch with the an analog face
: that
: indestuctable. I work for local law enforcement
: so lots of weapons practice, everyday abuse on
: duty
: as well as so special duty days where I work
: with HRT. I have searched the web and there
: is a lot of crap out there as well as some
: pretty pricy stuff. I want quality,
: durability, and no status symbols.
: Thanks in advance for all your help
