Frankster!!!

Have you considered the speed master Pro? Its just a timeless watch. Not keen on the X-33 for the following reason. The watch was designed for travel to mars. The only problem is that the battery will not last the trip. As I understand it the trip would take some 500 days there and back plus maybe 6 months there. Now these times may be wrong as it was some time ago when I read about this, but I do know the current design will not last a trip to mars. Seems Omega slipped up. At least the Speedmaster will last the trip.

: I've scanned the discussion forum and cannot
: find anything regarding the X-33. Being a
: Rolex person, I'm in the market for my first
: omega. I thought I had it down to two
: watches, the GMT or the SMP titanium. Then,
: I read about the X-33 being used by NASA for
: it's astronauts. The X-33 seems to be priced
: high for a quartz timepiece. Anyone know
: which model of the X-33 is used by NASA?
: Sooner or later, I'll decide which model to
: buy.
