Source for mid-size SMP

I"ve recently been bitten by the Omega bug and decided on a mid-size automatic with the new style dial, SS bezel and blue dial. I also prefer the new Speedmaster type band. My local dealer could not find this combination in his new catalog and he's not very informed about his products. The Omega web site lists this as a 2253.80. Is this available in the US? Any suggestions where I may buy one? One gray-market dealer lists a 2053.80 but it has the wrong band, also I just found out he removes the serial number and I'm not comfortable with that. Also is the new style dial a brighter blue than the dial with skeleton hands?
That was my observation at the local dealer.
Great web page Derek. Any help will be appreciated.
