only problem is.....

you need to factor in VAT refunds which is different across the board. Some countries give you 13%, 16% refund as a US, non-EU citizen. Some give 10% and others give 18%.

I've priced in several countries and even have the 'dealer' price lists and they range..
Example.

Offical price list for Bond Seamaster in 3/15/2000
is 255,000 pesatas or 1,532,58 Euros. There is also the dollar fluctiation and exchange rates.

Example, I bought as brand new SPeedy Pro , ref 3570.50 from an 'authorized dealer' in Barcelona.
List was 350,000 pesata/or 2,103.54 Euros. I got a discount of 280,000 pesatas which today is 1,544.00 US dollars. Back when I bought it, the exchange rate was $1,600.00-13% VAT refund which equals = $1344.00 my out the door price.

Also, the VAT refunds scale depending on price. It is like 16% if you go above $1000 or %13 between 700-900 in Spain alone.. If I did some calculations with some nifty exhange rate & VAT refund manipulation, I could get a BOND Seamaster 2531.80 for roughly less than $800.00 brand new from Auth Dealer..

Don't get me started with Asia... Whew. the prices in Taiwan alone wants me to go back...
