That sounds about right--especially considering parts of that bracelet are solid gold.
Bracelets are pretty expensive as replacement parts. Heck, even the all steel bracelets for the Seamaster Professional cost around that.
It is pretty much always better to buy the watch *on* the bracelet than to buy the bracelet separately! The watch on the bracelet usually costs only $100-200 more than on a strap. But as you see, replacement bracelets can cost double that difference!
